Hello,

My name is Gwen and I am the founder and business owner of Influential Advisor.

My personal journey has been one of joy, sorrow, laughter and challenges as most people.

I’ve experienced homelessness, divorce, loss of a home and abuse. Out of these experiences I chose to heal and to open my mind to new adventures and left the highway of victim to become empowered and fill my mind with knowledge and an incredible thirst for adventure. Life can change in unexpected, wonderful ways once we become empowered.

I wish you well and know that if I can do it, so can you.

I was employed with the New Zealand Police for a few years and was the co-founder of a tourist business in New Zealand for 15 years, plus studying natural therapies and a mother of three.

I made the decision to move to Australia where I continued studying natural therapies and started a natural therapy business in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. Clients asked me to teach so I set up courses and thoroughly enjoyed imparting knowledge and still do today.

I would like to share with you one of my many experiences.

I traveled to the Australian Desert where I stayed with 6 indigenous desert tribes, at Ernabella, now known as Pukatja. I Slept under the stars in swag (a swag is a canvas bedroll normally with zips down either side) on sacred women’s ceremony land.  I was very grateful for the knowledge I gained about their history and dreamtime.

I moved to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland where I volunteered at a shelter for homeless teenagers and at the same time I set up practise here on the Sunshine Coast as a Hypnotherapy Practitioner, Metaphysical Counsellor and Qi Gong Energy Healer.

I have over 35 years experience and qualifications, supporting people all over the world as a metaphysical counsellor and advisor, as well as accompanying woman when they have needed to face difficult situations that they normally would have found very stressful.

I have had what one could call a “sixth sense” and have supported people all over the world with this gift.

I have traveled independently to Europe, United Kingdom, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, United States of America and many more countries.

I am passionate about supporting women in particular, because there have been many times in my life when I was challenged, that caused me to feel isolated and alone that would have been much easier if I was able to call and Influential Advisor who was outside of the situation it would have eased those types of times.
